But is it really That is? This article aims at answering this question that how women rights are recognized in ICO and which norms and rules are codified in this regard. The present contribution, through focusing on the procedure of the activities of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in the field of women's rights and based on a descriptive-analytic method and by means of examining dozens of documents approved by the Organization and related research works worldwide, has revealed that however the Organization has had some achievements in norm and institution setting, it has failed in implementation of the norms and ensuring women's rights. Why and how to strengthen the achievements and eliminating the existing challenges meeting women's rights within the OIC, naturally should be studied in future researches. سازمان همکاری اسلامی با پیشینه­ی قریب به پنج دهه فعالیت بین‌المللی و فراگیری دامنه­ی شمول اعضا از همه­­ی مناطق جهان و بیشترین تعداد اعضا بعد از سازمان‌ملل، علی‌القاعده باید در ارتقای وضعیت انسانی مسلمانان از جمله زنان مسلمان در سراسر جهان اثرگذار و دارای دستاوردهای برجسته باشد. این مقاله درصدد پاسخگویی به این پرسش اساسی است که حقوق زنان در اسناد سازمان همکاری اسلامی چگونه مورد شناسایی قرار گرفته و چه هنجارها و قواعدی در این زمینه تدوین شده است. نوشتار حاضر با تمرکز بر روند فعالیت سازمان همکاری اسلامی در عرصه­ی حقوق زن، مبتنی بر روش توصیفی- تحلیلی و بررسی ده‌ها سند مصوب سازمان و آثار پژوهشی ذیربط در سطح جهانی، آشکار ساخته که سازمان مزبور اگرچه در ابعاد هنجارسازی و نهادسازی دستاوردهایی داشته، اما در زمینه­ی اجرای هنجارها و تضمین رعایت حقوق زن با ناکامی مواجه بوده است. چرایی و چگونگی تقویت دستاوردها و رفع چالش‌های موجود فراروی حقوق زنان در سازمان همکاری اسلامی، طبیعتاً باید در پژوهش‌های آتی مورد مطالعه قرار گیرند. https://csiw.qom.ac.ir/article_1428_a6c57cac7c2ec14c402ce48d1b5d386d.pdf
