Abstract

Biological weapons are mainly the same weapons that are used in military operations. The only difference between these weapons is that biological agents are used instead of explosives. Biological agents are living organisms that put living organisms at risk and, apart from their living conditions, secrete substances that cause disease or even death in humans, animals and plants. These factors, due to their unique characteristics, are considered a serious threat to human health and the peace and security of the world community. The results of this study, which was carried out with a descriptive-analytical method, show that considering that biological weapons did not exist at the time of the emergence of Islam in its current form, but the accepted theoretical basis for prohibiting the use and use of such weapons is based on relatively similar rules in the international humanitarian law system and Sharia is Islam, and to prohibit the use of such weapons, as well as international humanitarian law documents, Islamic teachings and Sharia rules can be resorted to. The rules and regulations that monitor the standards of humanitarian and human rights and conform to the rational Sharia and the interests of human society.
