Abstract
Granting personality to Artificial Intelligence is one of the controversial issues that has been arisen for management of operational challenges of this technology. The main reasons for the necessity of granting personality are related to the area of responsibility and ownership of innovations due to these systems. The important question is whether the legal personality is grantable to these systems?In the Meantime , How much of this Personality can be granted to these systems? What is the position of Islamic legal systems and western legal systems in this issue? The current article evaluates different types of personality for Artificial Intelligence with the analytical-descriptive method, and investigate the Islamic legal systems, European Union, France and Germany about this issue. This study, in the end, concludes that although a particular sentence cannot be provided for amount of legal personality due to different functional levels of AI types, Gradient legal personality seems to be a suitable choice.
